The Downtown Clawson Master Plan was recognized by the American Planning Association (APA) for excellence in the Small Towns and Rural Planning (STaR) Division for Outstanding Small Town Special Projects Plan.
The award was presented in NYC at the National Planning Conference on Sunday, May 7 where our Planning firm Giffels Webster (formerly Clearzoning) accepted the award in our behalf.
The award will be presented to the DDA and City at the June 6 City Council meeting.
This plan was two years in the works – multiple public meetings, surveys, Awareness Walk. We’re pretty happy with the result and delighted to be recognized by this prestigious group.
