News Update from the Clawson DDA….
It is with great sadness but with joy for the future that I am submitting my
resignation as the Executive Director of the Clawson DDA effective immediately.
I have recently learned the City Manager and Mayor believe the management of
the Downtown Development Authority can be effectively managed by city
administration without a dedicated director. As there will not be a training and
transition period for a new Executive Director I am able to move my planned
retirement forward.
I have enjoyed building and leading this organization for the past 17 years. Having
a hand in the positive changes and growth in our downtown and the privilege of
working, and forging friendships, with so many small business owners and
volunteers.
The above was accepted today by the DDA board at the monthly meeting and my retirement plans can begin in earnest.
It has been my honor to work with the businesses and volunteers in Downtown Clawson for so many years and to call so many my friends.
