Our Downtown Story

Clawson is a 2.1-square-mile city tucked between Royal Oak, Troy, and Madison Heights in Oakland County. The downtown district runs along Main Street and 14 Mile Road, with about 80 businesses in a compact, walkable area.

The DDA was established to invest tax revenue back into the district, funding streetscape improvements, marketing, events like Restaurant Week and the Saturday Market, and programs that help local businesses succeed.

Today the district is home to destination shops like Leon & Lulu and Wunderground Magic Shop, and a growing roster of independent restaurants and bars.
