Downtown Businesses
- 76-84 W. 14 Mile new tenant; PanDeMonium received a resolution from Council in order to apply for a Redevelopment Liquor License
- 25-29 S. Main; Blumz Florist, Grand Opening held on February 9 was well attended. Delighted to welcome Amanda and her team to Downtown Clawson as we join Holly and Ferndale in this growing business venture.
- 10 S. Main (former Hips); has been leased to the gift shop Down the Rabbit Hole. Another growing small business! Downtown Clawson will be their second store, joining the Canturbury Village location.
- 150 N. Main;(PNC property) Developers have begun the Planned Unit Development process for a multi-use 3-story development with apartment units and a small retail element. They presented their plan to the Planning Commission on February 13 but there was no vote and they will be scheduled for a future date in March
Commercial construction projects continue in and around the downtown
- 400 S. Main continues renovation for potential Loaded Dice brewery location
- 516 N. Main; townhome development building
- 436-456 W. 14 Mile, plans have been approved by Planning Commission for an apartment development. Demolition of the site is complete
Main Street
- Downtown Master Plan Update. Survey results are being compiled for a future public meeting
Grant follow ups
- Pedestrian crossing signal update: City engineering firm, AEW, has put the signal base repair and install of the High-Intensity crossWalk (HAWK) signal is out for bid

Committee is reviewing locations and pricing for additional planters and will bring recommendations to the board

- Downtown Clawson Dollars are available on com and limited bonus cards still remain. Think Easter, Mother’s Day or just a gift for no special reason. Remember these gift cards can be used throughout the downtown.
- The Downtown Neighbors program has launched and we have begun delivering information packets to small businesses throughout the city. A membership program allows the DDA to extend benefits to businesses beyond the downtown and all independently owned brick and mortar Clawson businesses are invited.
