Cinema in the Street

by | Jan 23, 2017

On Saturday, July 13, 2024 Cinema in the Street returned for its 16th year.

Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was a huge hit with the crowd.

There was again be  plenty of fun to be had playing in the street – karaoke, corn hole, frozen t-shirt contest, street art – and at absolutely no cost. And, as always and movie is free thanks to many downtown business sponsors and the Downtown Clawson DDA. Come early. Stay late. The movie starts promptly at dusk. Bring your chair & blanket, grab a social district drink and get ready for a movie under the stars.

Karaoke and games 6-9pm. Movie at dark

Thank you to the on-screen advertisers that made the movie screening a possibility  –  Leon & Lulu, Three Cats, Mojave Cantina,  Diversified Credit Union,  Clawson Care Pharmacy, Renshaw Lounge, r. collective salon, Laundry Palace, Clawson Auto Sales, Noble Fish,  Zeoli’s Modern Italian, Grand River Brewery, Tavern on the Main, Gus’s Snug Irish Pub, Top Tech, Weiss Distillery, Sabbath Coffee Roasters, Blumz, and White Wolf.
