Downtown Clawson won the Spirit of Main Street Award, Main Street Oakland County's top honor, for "Levels Up!", a video by DDA board member Nick Forshee that plays downtown like an arcade game. The award came with a $2,000 prize from Genisys Credit Union.

The annual Independence Day parade runs through Clawson. In 2026 the Chamber and DDA built a Monopoly-themed float so local businesses that cannot enter on their own still got a spot in the parade. To ask about the 2027 float, contact Alec Speshock at alec@clawsonchamber.org.
