Congratulations are in order for the Clawson DDA and the volunteers and business owners that make Downtown Clawson so special. Last night at the Main Street Oakland County annual Main Event awards ceremony Downtown Clawson was the top winner with a total of three awards.
The twelve nationally accredited Main Street communities in Oakland County submit award packages for consideration in several categories which span all of the areas of Main Street – Promotion, Economic Vitality, Organization and Design.
The judging teams recognized Clawson with the following:
• Business Owner of the Year: Mary Liz Curtin, Clawson: Leon & Lulu’s
• Celebrating Main Street: Cinema in the Street, Clawson
• Telling Your Story: Downtown Design Guidelines, Clawson
