Wednesday, July 5

Phew. It’s been a busy time in Clawson with two weeks of activities that culminated last night with the grand fireworks show that Clawson is known for. The weather was perfect all day, the parade was great, City Park was busy all day with the rides, Midway and craft show, the Troy-Clawson firefighter water battle and then fireworks!

Downtown Clawson’s entry in the parade was an out-of-the-ballpark smash hit. To advertise for the upcoming Cinema in the Street  we had a Night at the Museum dinosaur walking in the parade. T-Rex danced, high fived and had pictures taken with kids along the route. Huge hit. Highly entertaining! We owe a big thank you to our volunteers and especially our T-Rex, you know who you are Tony Raymaker!

Now we set our sights on Saturday. July 8 is the date to be on South Main Street for the 10th Annual Cinema in the Street. See you there!
