News from DTE…..

The power outage map has become all too familiar to residents and businesses in Clawson.
DTE has recently written to the City Manager to apologize for the inconvenience and say they understand the level of service in our area has not been up to standard. They explained they are working to improve the service and power quality.
We are told further communication on this issue will be forthcoming.

A dedicated line for Clawson customers

DTE has opened a phone line for Clawson complaints and issues.
This line is not staffed but it is monitored and DTE promises that calls will be returned.

Dealing with an automated system when you are already under stress can be frustrating. Let’s give this new phone line a try and hope it helps. Better yet, let’s hope you don’t have to use it.
